Number – 1 Grade 4×4 post. Cut from the center of the tree for maximum strength and hardness. Two 2×4’s – Multiple fasteners causing unappealing look. Warping causes large gapping and railing movement.l
Synthetic Decking Number 3:4
Synthetic Decking – Blind stainless steel fasteners. Full 5/4” thick for no warping with expansion control fibers and simulated wood grain. Number 1 – Looser grain you are more susceptible to cracking and damage. There is no such product as premium number 1 Decking
Vinyl Railing Plastic Railing
Vinyl Railing – Vinyl extrusion for clean soft look. Heavy gauge aluminum “A” beam for maximum stability. Boca approved for highest quality. Plastic Railing – Hard unfinished look. No structural integrity. Not made to span distances over 24”. Not an approved or tested product. Extreme expansion and contraction causing railing to loosen.
Inside Frame Outside Frame
Inside Frame – “inside of frame”” installation for a clean looking perimeter framing. Wrap perimeter framing with millennium decks. Apply all needed flashing on wood structures. Trim inside and outside of pickets for cosmetic pleasing look. Outside Frame – Applies railing posts to exterior band with unsightly fasteners and breaking up the exterior flow. Use inlet joists which cause water and insect to penetrate existing structure. Unfinished and beveled picket ends that darken and gives a molding unfinished appearance.
